Cancellation & Refunds
Fair rules, plainly stated. If a course isn't a fit, here's exactly how to get your money back.

1. Summary
Ashpranix Institute offers a 7-day cooling-off period from the date of payment, during which you can request a full refund if you have accessed less than 20% of the course content. After this window, refunds are limited to specific circumstances described below. All refunds are returned to the original payment method through Razorpay.
2. The 7-Day Cooling-Off Window
You are eligible for a 100% refund of the course fee if all of the following are true:
- The refund is requested within 7 calendar days of the date of payment.
- You have consumed less than 20% of the course content (measured by our progress-tracking system: videos watched, lessons opened, labs launched).
- You have not downloaded any materials marked as downloadable (where applicable).
- You have not received a certificate of completion or any similar credential.
3. Requests After 7 Days
After the 7-day window, refunds are considered only in these specific cases:
- Programme cancellation by us: if we cancel a live cohort or instructor-led batch, you receive a pro-rated refund for the remaining sessions or may choose a free transfer to the next cohort.
- Duplicate payment: if you were charged twice for the same course due to a technical error, the duplicate amount is refunded in full without question.
- Exceptional medical or personal circumstances: handled case-by-case on submission of documentation. A partial refund or course-transfer credit may be offered at our discretion.
4. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refund:
- Courses where 20% or more of the content has been consumed.
- Courses for which a certificate of completion has been generated.
- One-time purchases of individual lab attempts, proctored assessments, or certificate re-issues.
- Competition entry fees once the competition has commenced.
- Third-party courses or partner programmes, which are governed by the partner's own refund policy disclosed at the time of purchase.
- Payment-gateway charges and taxes (GST), which we pass through at cost and cannot refund for you.
5. How to Request a Refund
- Email us at learn@ashpranix.com from the address registered to your account, with the subject line "Refund Request".
- Include: your full name, registered email, course name, date of payment, Razorpay order or payment ID (visible on your invoice), and a brief reason for the request.
- We acknowledge every request within 2 business days and confirm the decision within 7 business days.
- Approved refunds are triggered through Razorpay to the original payment method (card, UPI, net banking, or wallet).
6. Refund Timeline
Once approved, the refund is initiated from our end within 2 business days. The amount typically reflects in your account in:
- Credit/Debit cards: 5–10 business days, depending on your issuing bank.
- UPI: 3–5 business days.
- Net banking: 5–7 business days.
- Wallets: 1–3 business days.
If you haven't received an approved refund within 10 business days, contact your bank first. If the bank has no record, email us with the Razorpay refund ID we shared.
7. Payment Failures & Technical Issues
If your account was debited but the course enrolment did not activate within 2 hours, email us with the Razorpay payment ID. We will either activate access or issue a full refund within 3 business days. Payments that are declined by your bank are not debited in the first place — if your statement shows a pending amount that auto-reverses within 5 days, no action is needed.
8. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback through your bank — it is almost always faster and easier to resolve disputes directly. If a chargeback is raised while a valid refund is already in progress, the chargeback will be contested with evidence of the completed refund, and associated bank fees may be deducted from any eligible refund amount.
